Not Quite Right – How to Detect and Work with Abby Normal Data

August 21, 2024 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Pacific Time

A normal distribution forms the basis for many statistical analyses, allowing for precise inferential analysis due to its predictable properties and symmetry. However, real-world data often deviates from normality due to factors like skewness and outliers, creating a monster of a time in getting a good fit.

Join Elaine Eisenbeisz of Omega Statistics as she shows you why and when a normal distribution is important. Elaine will also present a demonstration of checking the normality assumption in a dataset. SPSS statistical software will be used in the demonstration.

Anyone is welcome to attend the webinar. Pre-requisite knowledge of statistics is useful, but not necessary.

There is always some time for Q&A during the live event so bring your questions! And, all registrants will receive a handout and a link to a recording of the webinar. So if you cannot attend the live event, you can watch later at your convenience.

The webinar and recording are FREE! But space is limited.
